Searching for a horse

The buyer form takes the criteria a dealer would ask you for. You do not have to fill in all of them — leave a field empty and it simply will not narrow the search.

What each field does

• •Category / discipline — dressage, show jumping, eventing and so on. This is the strongest filter; set it if you can.
• •Level — the level the horse is currently competing or schooling at.
• •Country / location — where the horse is now. Widen it if you get too few matches.
• •Gender, age, height — straightforward filters on the horse itself.
• •Price — set a maximum in your own currency; prices are converted before comparison.

Too few matches?

Widen the widest criterion first — usually price or country — and re-run. A scan is free, so several passes cost you nothing.
