How a scan works, step by step
A scan runs while you wait — there is nothing to install and no account needed to see your first results.
Step by step
- Choose your side on the homepage:
I'm looking for a horseorI'm looking for a buyer. - Fill in the form. The more criteria you give, the tighter the match — but every field is optional except the basics.
- Submit. The scan usually takes up to a minute.
- Your results page opens with the matches ranked by match score.
What a match score means
Each match is scored on how closely the listing meets the criteria you entered — discipline and level, location, age, height, price and so on. A high score means most of your criteria were met, not that the horse is a better horse.
Keeping your results
Bookmark the results page: the link stays valid, so you can come back to it. Turn on daily monitoring if you want to be told about new arrivals instead of re-running the scan yourself.
